The Periodic Table of MemoQ Shortcuts All MemoQ Shortcuts at a glance
When I published my Periodic Table of Trados Shortcuts back in 2014, I didn’t dare to hope for so much positive feedback. Now finally, after almost two years (the Trados Shortcuts poster was published on March 19, 2014), here is the continuation: the Periodic Table of MemoQ Shortcuts!
The Periodic Table of Trados Shortcuts was born just out of fun and because I loved the CAT tool. For MemoQ it’s no different: Kilgray’s CAT tool is my second most used CAT tool and I love it for it’s intelligence. Furthermore the latest release contains many nice features that make it even greater. Just out of fun and to help you all I created this poster with MemoQ shortcuts.
A short note on this MemoQ shortcuts overview
For all those people who are comparing this Periodic Table of MemoQ Shortcuts with my previous Table: there are huge differences, apart from the color scheme. I discovered that MemoQ does not offer as many shortcuts as Trados Studio: about 75 versus more than 115. This Periodic Table is therefore not as filled as its counterpart, but hey: both software tools are unique aren’t they?
Because of the lack of shortcuts I was also unable to order them properly, but the great benefit is that I didn’t have to make a selection about which shortcuts to include.
What can you do with this Periodic Table?
I made the Periodic Table of MemoQ Shortcuts available in high resolution. You can therefore download it (yes, it’s free of course) and print it up to A0 format, like I did with the Trados poster (see below).
Of course you can also print it in a smaller format or use it as your desktop wallpaper.
The most important thing: spread the word and share your love with it! Feel free to share a picture of you and the shortcuts and mention me (@Vertaaltnu) on Twitter!
