My rates

0.08 USD per source word
0.03 USD per source word
From 15 to 25 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

Note that my usual hourly rate is $25.

My biography and experience

I am a native Czech translator working from English to Czech. I have lived in the UK since 2001 and I have a university education both in English and Czech. I have studied towards MA in Czech Language and Literature and Music at University of Ostrava in Czech Republic. I have graduated from University of London in 2012 and the main focus of my studies were on literature, literary criticism and literary theory - lots of reading, analysing, writing.

Even though my university studies were in humanities, science was always my big love and originally I was preparing for study of biology, then at the last moment I changed my mind. The translation career gives me an opportunity to combine both my love for language, linguistics and science.

I have a CV, which I send only on request.
