My rates
Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.
Furthermore, international best practices postulate that conference or simultaneous interpretation is rated per day. Accordingly, and in line with the international practices; my daily rate is $420 according to

My biography and experience
As a highly-qualified, experienced, and an internationally recognized interpreter/translator with almost 10 years of experience, and being well versed with most subjects, especially financial and legal subjects, I believe I can significantly contribute to your success.
Working with international humanitarian organizations; including but not limited to UNRWA, UNHCR, NRC and others allowed me to gain a potent experience in a variety of subject matters. It also allowed me to acquaint my-self with humanitarian work settings and refugee interaction. What really gives me an advantage over competitors is that I am not only bilingual but bi-cultural as well; a talent that I utilize wisely to overcome any language barriers, in addition to being a University of Chicago alumnus; one of the top ranking and reputable universities of the world.
The following points are highlights of my career as a translator & interprepreter:
- Official training as a translator and interpreter at the US Department of Homeland Security.
- Certified translator by the American Translators' Association.
- Certified court interpreter by the Judicial Council of California.
- 10 years of experience in the field of translation & interpretation.
- Specialized experience in humanitarian/refugee settings, as well as legal, financial, and educational translationinterpretation.
- Experience in simultaneous, consecutive interpretation and international high-level conferences.
- Being completely bilingual and bicultural.
- My great American English ability and semi-native accent.
Furthermore, I'm well versed with most computerized applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat PDF, Email, FTP, and CAT Tools (such as Trados).
