My biography and experience

I was born and raised in South China. As a quiet kid and a B+/B-, I was interested in almost everything. Language is something always fascinated me. And I was very good at English (I started learning it at school when I was 7). After high school, I went to a teacher's college, finished my education and graduated with Bachelor's Degree in English Education (also known by people outside of China as Teaching English as a Foreign Language). I did my internship in middle school and high school. Finally I landed myself a job teaching English at a public high school. Teaching teenagers could be quite challenging but I enjoyed being surrounded by young curious minds.  The most important part is I love learning and growing with someone who reminded me so much of who I used to be. A few years passed. One day I decided that I needed to move to a new place to experience something different. I picked Canada and started to apply for graduate schools in the country. Luckily after not much waiting, I was accepted into a Master's Degree program. So I moved countries and settled down. Another few years passed. I finished school and got a office job. Occasionally I translate work-related documents at my supervisor's request. Now I am planning to pick up translation as a side job.
