My rates

0.09 USD per source word
0.05 USD per source word
From 26 to 35 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

From a very early age, I have shown a talent for languages and writing. This was further developed by a profound interest in studying English, first as an ESL student, and later as a graduate student.

I started my career as a professional translator working for an online news portal, where I translated articles from the New York Times. Later, I specialized in legal translation, working for a major Brazilian law firm. Since 2013, I have been working exclusively as a freelance translator.

I have been working mainly with legal EN-PT translation since 2005. I have also translated various types of documents in many different areas in addition to legal and business. I am very familiar with legal terminology and I have excellent research abilities.

My translations are impeccable and delivered on time, and I am very client-oriented.

I also work with editing and proofreading, copywriting and transcreation, brand checking, and terminology research.
