While in university, I studied abroad at International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan for one year. Upon graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Japanese and World Business, I got a job on the JET Program, which took me to Nagano, Japan for three years. On the JET Program, I worked as a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR). My duties included translation, interpreting, lectures, school visits, and more. After my three years were up, I moved to Tokyo, where I worked as a translation project manager at a web design company for a year before setting out on my journey as a freelance translator.

I do all the Japanese to English translations myself. I proofread the English to Japanese translations, which are performed by a native Japanese-speaking translator.
