My biography and experience

Ausbildung: In 2006/ 2007, I worked as a German language assistant in Felsted, a small town near London, England. I taught all grades from 5-13. This provided an outstanding opportunity to test and improve my language and teaching skills. I had 10 very interesting months of teaching and learning and I really enjoyed the work with my students. In 2011/ 2012, I have gained experience as a translator at SprachUnion, a translation agency based in Chemnitz, Germany, that focuses on technical translation. Additionally, during my 6 year studies of B.A. & M.A. studies of English Literature, Culture and Language, I completed two courses on the subject of translation.  Since 2013 I was able to expand my professional knowledge translating patents (training by Jeannette Eckel), marketing texts, editing and proofreading brochures as well as helping out with medical records. Also I edited and proofread websites as well as worked with various agencies on a variety of projects. At the moment I am translating patents for a large company in the automotive sector with a focus on electric cars.
