I am a German to English freelance translator specializing in technical and patent translation. In addition to translations I also offer editing/proofreading and transcription services.

I grew up and attended college in the United States before moving to Germany in 2013. I earned my master's degree in International Technical Communication - Languages and Technology (a long name for "technical writing and translation") from the University of Hildesheim in Hildesheim, Germany and began my translation career. After gaining professional translation experience at Hamburg-based translation agencies 24translate and Mahrt Fachübersetzungen, I moved to freelancing in 2019.

My recent work includes translating manuals for wind turbine maintenance, adapting existing translations to match updated source documents, and transcribing various audio materials. I am actively seeking long-term collaborations with translation agencies and end clients.
