From 36 to 45 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me by email at 123@eidenbenz-translation.com and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

I started teaching languages during my early years at university (that goes back to 2002) and found it very exciting! Making the learning process a fun experience and making my students (adults and children alike) confident about their newly developed language and learning skills brought me a lot of joy. Also, because I was continuously looking for new and relevant material to work on with my students, I was learning many very valuable things from that teaching experience myself. I ended up thinking that I was cut out to become a language teacher. But I promised myself that I would first see what the "real" professional world is like out there – how can one teach languages (or anything else, really) without any experience of the world outside that comfortable classroom?

So that's how I started working as a project manager in different areas (hospitality, health care and scientific research), and in different languages (French, German, English) and learned many different skills. But languages soon came back in force into my life; important changes in my personal life (now, you'll first have to get to know me better if you want to know more about that bit) led me to a career path as an entrepreneur and freelance translator.

It's funny how life can drive you to paths you had never thought you would take one day ! I've been a full-time entrepreneur and freelance translator since 2016, and I pride myself everyday on taking that new challenge! Going through big changes in your life (going into the unknown) is not always easy, no matter how convinced and motivated you are – does this resonate in you at all ? – but the good news is that it is a great opportunity to make "real" choices in your life and head for what your heart is craving for. At least, that was my case. Now all I need is make it happen every single day!
