They say every project is different and I'm certain there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate.
There are a lot of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format, how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc.

As a native Dutch freelance translator, born and raised in The Netherlands, I can help you with the translation of your English texts into Dutch. Because I lived for over 30 years in Belgium, I can also help you with the translation of your English texts into Flemish.
Although Dutch and Flemish seem to be the same language, there are a lot of important differences.
Some examples:
- A mobile phone in Dutch is 'een mobieltje' but in Flemish it's called a 'GSM'
- In Dutch there is an expression that means something like 'most certainly' they say 'vast en zeker' where in Flemish it's the other way around 'zeker en vast'.
- Potato's, in Dutch are called 'aardappelen' in Flemish 'patatten'.
- ...
So there are a lot of reasons why you should adapt your texts for Belgium to Flemish instead of Dutch. And I can help you with that. As a native Dutch married to a Belgian, kids who are Belgians, after so many years the Flemish language has no more secrets for me.
