From 26 to 35 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

I'm an Italian professional translator based in Vancouver, Canada, translating from Japanese, English and French into my native Italian. Initially trained as a literary translator, I have studied and specialized more recently in the travel/tourism, medical/pharmaceutical, marketing and art/culture fields. Other than my homeland, Italy, I have lived in France, Japan and Canada (where I reside now), with shorter stays in Ireland and Australia. Before taking the plunge in the freelancing world, I have worked as an in-house translator and project manager, teacher and web annotator. I recently started a translation blog called wordswonderland, where I'm looking forward to discuss my journey towards a career in the translation business. I believe in the power of words as bridges between cultures, businesses and human beings, therefore my mission is to facilitate this communication efficiently and accurately.
