My rates

0.07 USD per source word
0.03 USD per source word
From 36 to 45 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

Well, simply put I love words, languages. I started studying french language in high school. 4 years of high school and then 4 others in university. Between grammar (loved syntaxis), lexicology, general linguistics, phonetics and all that linguist's things put together, at the end of the studies you realize that everything converges to the text. We all communicate by texts. I loved it all, but I loved translation most. When you try to translate from another language towards yours or vice-versa, you try to go beyond what's visible. You try to give spirit to that bunch of words. Translation can be challenging, but most of everything is rewarding! I love my job!

My translation jobs vary from environment related documents, banking, economics, law. All these fields are known to me by work experience. I'm a linguist and legal expert by education. Mainly I work on criminal procedure translations (extraditions, international arrest warrants, letters rogatory etc).
