Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience
I'm a 41-year-old freelancer/translation entrepreneur with two kids and 10+ years of experience. My special fields include IT and all types of manuals . My end clients include Microsoft, KLM/Air France, Xerox, HP, ASUS, Lenovo, Kingston, IBM, Nokia, Whirlpool, Yamaha etc. I also translate on a daily basis all kinds of texts ranging from marketing to casino/gaming and contracts to HR bulletins.
I'm a Proz.com PRO certified translator (one of the few Eng-Fin certified translators) and I consider myself as a very good candidate for any English to Finnish translation. I'm also the ONLY independent Certified SDL Trados trainer in Finland, so I consider myself an expert user of the SDL Trados Studio. I can also use several other TM tools, such as MemoQ, Wordfast, SDLX and DejaVu.
My excellent IT skills also guarantee that I'm very aware of the technical aspects of translation and that I don't cause any problems in the next stages of the document chain.
I'm am aware that I'm not the cheapest translator on the market, but I have translated approximately 500,000 words of texts per year since 2005, so I consider myself a very experienced translator who holds a university degree in translation/interpretation. I can also guarantee great quality, fast turnaround times and on-time delivery.
