My services always take into account the fact that the translation procedure not only involves changing the target text, but also adapting any cultural or media reference that the source text may contain in order to avoid any “linguistic bug” on the final translation. My main field of specialization is video games localization, having taken part in more than 500 projects for different clients, including the main developers and distributors of this industry. I have also worked in numerous localization projects that go from administrative management programs to the sending of messages through complete mobile phone systems and, thanks to my training as an audio-visual translator, I have had the opportunity to translate for different film festivals and documentaries, as well as for some of the main distributors of DVD content at an international level. Although my specializations are the ones above mentioned, I have also done translations for different companies in fields that go from marketing to the manufacturing of batteries, including translating annual accounts of international companies. I am very proficient on translation software such as Trados, SDLX and Wincaps for subtitles as well as other software such as MS Office and Adobe packages, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver and InDesign. I\'m a Proz certified translator, member of APTIC (Catalan association of translators and interpreters) and a funding member of ATRAE (Spanish association of audio-visual translators).
