My rates

0.15 USD per source word
0.09 USD per source word
From 56 to 65 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

I am a technical translator with more than twenty years of experience. I take a client-centered approach to translation. This means that you will get exactly the kind of quality, end user oriented translation you seek. In fact, I always ensure that I have a precise idea of the purpose of the translation, and only then do I start translating away. I have the tools of the trade and use them to ensure that the correct terminology is used, that the client's preferred terms are given priority (I take the time to discuss these with you if need be) and that the style of the translated text is perfectly readable and clear. No stone is left unturned in my quest for the perfect technical translation. My greatest strengths are my attention to detail, my drive to always use the correct terms and to use them consistently, my familiarity with a variety of file formats and my motivation to take note of any errors, irregularities and ambiguities, which allows my clients to have complete control over how problem points are ultimately dealt with.
