I am a French to English translator based in the UK. I am a native English speaker and I've always been passionate about languages. My very first exposure to French came when I was at primary school and since then, I've been hooked. I continued to study languages throughout my academic career and went in to complete a double language degree in French and Spanish. My BA in Modern Languages was obtained in 2009 and since then I have been working in environments where my language skills have been essential.

Most recently, I worked as a Webmaster and In-house translator for a French-owned e-commerce company for 3.5 years. During my work with this company, my translation skills were tested and honed through working on complex, challenging technical texts mainly about batteries and battery technology as well as translating and writing copy for marketing campaigns.

I am currently working as a freelance translator and am interested in working with companies to get their content including, but not limited to websites, documents, marketing materials etc translated into readable, understandable English that their clients can identify with.

My strengths lie in my tenacity, attention to detail and genuine desire to produce the best quality translation I can no matter the project. I pride myself in ensuring that my translations always convey the meaning of the source language without compromising on the readability of the target text. I always get the job done.
