I have started working as a freelance translator not too long ago, so far I have mainly translated medical documents, midwifery forms and brochures - for my sister who's a midwife. I have also translated business contracts, for a family business, I am often praised for delivering the work according to the deadlines or even before. I am young and eager to learn. I like challenges, when I am asked to translate something far from what I am used to I am anything but hesitant to dive into it. My little experience does not mean that I am not able to deliver you quality work, I tend to be a perfectionist and I work hard not only until the job is done, but until the job is done right. Thanks to a recent experience abroad I now possess the skills to excel in the translation of economic and political texts. I took part to a UN project - New York Model United Nations, during which I have: Composed a detailed Position Paper for the commission, discussing international diplomacy and individual research results; Modeled and performed UN political, economic and social mediation strictly in English, in order to immerse in a realistic simulation of the United Nations dynamics. I also possess confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills (Italian, English, Portuguese). I am confident that my current skills make me an excellent translator.
