A few things about me
Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me, send me the file, if available, and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote. Here are some of the details I will ask of you.

My education
My biography and experience
Certified by the American Translators Association in Italian to English, I have been a full-time professional translator since 2000. Originally from Oregon, U.S., I graduated from New York’s Sarah Lawrence College in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts with focuses on cultural anthropology and foreign languages. I studied in Florence in 1994 at the Sarah Lawrence program and at the University of Florence. Ever since, I have kept a foot in each country, spending extended periods of time in both the U.S. and Italy. I enjoy working closely with authors and scholars to optimize their writing.
