My biography and experience

Since 2006 my husband and I have been working as freelance translators. First it was more like a hobby and unsteady earnings for pocket expenses during our studies at university. After graduation it became our profession and vocation. In 2009 we founded our small family company which was called Synergy Translation Company and then we rebranded it into Aleyna Voice & Translation. What has it to do with "voice"? The point is that my second vocation is voice-over. I started doing it professionally in 2011 and now I have a small home studio where I record regular e-learning and IVRS projects. Sometimes I rent a professional off-site studio where I record commercials and some other projects requiring impeccable sound. In December 2015 I started cooperation with a great start-up — website for young parents (Babystep.tv). They record short education videos and I provide Russian voice-over for them. I have a 5-year old son and a small baby girl, so it's especially interesting and exciting for me! For now I have already recorded more than 600 videos and there is more to come. As for translation, my husband is responsible for most technical and financial projects, while I prefer working on marketing texts, mobile apps localization, traveling brochures and corporate business training books. Moreover we share our managing and marketing responsibilities, and of course I don't forget about my voice-over projects while Konstantin helps me with some technical issues. We love working together, and we hope that being members of this community we gain new skills, experience, and opportunities to share our own knowledge with colleagues and potential customers.
