A few things about me
Find me on Proz
Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. The projects I do for free are charity or helping people in great need. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My education
My biography and experience
Grew up in Siberia, graduated from an English school and got a University degree in Linguistics in Novosibirsk. My Master thesis I wrote in Germany, at Europe-University Viadrina. Since my graduation in 1998 I have worked all across Europe, some Asian countries and in North America helping my clients connect with each other and build their businesses. My experience gained from work at companies providing services in auditing, education, production, publishing and extraction has widened my interpreting and interpersonal skills. I am convinced that interpreting in most cases is much more than a pure transfer of information. This work requires from interpreter qualities, which are more common for diplomats, journalists, psychologists, moderators, managers, city guides, personal assistants, drivers etc. A good interpreter never stops learning. And he is willing to work with people, he delights in helping them, though sometimes remaining unappreciated or unnoticed. A good interpreter is invisible, but his work is striking. This interpreter becomes your voice.
