My biography and experience

Raised in a multicultural environment in permanent contact with 3 languages, it became quickly obvious for me that I wanted to become a translator. As I've had the opportunity to live several years in different countries, I built up a strong cultural background that I reinforced with a degree in international relations completed at the University of Montreal. This is how I gained the knowledge essential to understanding the cultural and social challenges that arise at the international level, as well as the political and historical aspects of different regions of the world, particularly the Middle-East. Versatile by nature, flexible and independent, I easily adapt myself to the requests of my clients and I make all the efforts necessary to meet their requirements, as my first concern is their satisfaction and my main goal is to establish a trust-based relationship. I am also always available to respond to any doubts or questions that may arise, in order to talk about it openly. I have special interest in social projects and/or projects related to international development. Indeed, having collaborated with various NGOs, I have acquired experience in the translation of communication material (press releases, annual report...), websites included. History and traveling being my passions, I wish in the long term to have the opportunity to work on a regular basis in these fields. I also teach FLE (French language for foreigners) to young adults willing to learn the language in order to improve their career opportunities or to pass official exams (DELF). My objective is to explore and discover new and alternative teaching methods to make learning a language easier and more fun.
