Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

With previous experience in the travel industry and education, working in the UK and Japan, as well as living in France and Italy, I'm able to draw on a unique mixture of culture and knowledge. My main interests are video game translation and localisation, natural sciences and zoology, current affairs, and NGOs. For the past couple of months I have been a translator on Upwork, but I'm now looking to switch to this platform in the hopes of pursuing better projects, and also not having to fork out a fifth of my earnings for every project.

When a translator enjoys their work, they build up an emotional connection with their project, which allows for quality you won't find anywhere else. If you would like any translations in one of the above areas, especially in video games, then I'd love to hear from you.
