Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My education

My biography and experience

My major of Univ. was Spanish and English. After Univ. I started my career as the editor of major monthly English magazine which carried the worldwide current world affairs. My team's target was make it the best English magazine in Korea like Economist, the  magazine of world authority.

The coworkers of mine at that time are now the chief editors and translators of Korean version 'National Geographic' . This work experience which helped to have good command of English writing and speaking made me to promoted to work abroad as Hankook Tire's branch manager in Panama and Brazil in '90s.

For international business English is the top priority though my major is Spanish and this situation is still keeps with little by little changing.

From graduation of Univ. all my jobs always has to do with English. Among them, processing of VC project of High Temperature Super conductor with Germany and USA companies of the years 2004~2007 is the accomplishment which I am very proud of.

Usually engineers of every industry think that presenting detailed technical data is is best to persuade the investors or executive directors. However I asked them, the Korea counterpart engineers help me understand those very new and unfamiliar technical and engineering terminology to make easy to understand English/Korean literature materials for decision levels.

I currently run my own business of trading small gadgets with clients all over the world. This is another filed which needs enough understanding of all documents of English/Korean and vice versa necessary for transactions.

Translation is made to make people get the clear idea of the original paper.. Many word to word translation of catalogs and manuals make people confused and it leads to a potential resistance of the commercial item.

Translation needs understanding of human and which is what I haven't been lazy to share my time.
