Have a scientific background (my specialization is biochemistry and molecular biology): graduated from St Petersburg State University (Russia) and gained the PhD degree in biochemistry at the same University; passed State Exam on the English Language in the field of Life Sciences (Excellent) in 1999. Participated (as a translator, editor, reviewer, and proofreader) in many projects concerning medical, pharmaceutical and pharmacological documents, clinical trial documentation, and patents related to pharmaceutics and biotechnology.
