My biography and experience

I am a proficient writer in Italian (mother tongue), English, and German. Various experiences abroad (postgraduate studies in Germany, internship in the United Kingdom, family in the United States and Brazil) brought me to a deeper understanding of the respective languages and cultures, and allowed me to develop cross-cultural communication skills and flexibility in facing new challenges. Through many years of language and literature studies I have improved my feeling for language and translation skills. Since completing my studies I have passionately worked as a freelance translator, collaborating with the geopolitical magazine Eastwest and introducing writers such as Catherine Lacey, Julianne Pachico, and Judith Hermann to Italian readers. Translation is a wonderfully challenging way of exploring the world and oneself, I am excited about the rest of my journey!
