Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the number of words and the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

I have been working as a literary translator for 4 years, now. I have translated novels for Leone Editore, Harlequin Mondadori and Harper Collins - besides hosting book presentations with the authors and writing book synopsis for books yet to be translated and published in Italy. In the meantime I have been working as a tour guide for the Barone Ricasoli winery in the Chianti Classico area, leading tourists through the old castle grounds and rooms, vineyards, cellars and productive areas. Previous experiences: Italian as a second language teacher, English as a second language teacher, tour guide at MNST Museum in Milan. I have been studying and practicing English since a very young age and I took my junior year of high school in the US, whereas I have studied Spanish for 9 years.
