Our rates depend largely on the subject matter and also on the quality of writing of the source text. Non- editable content such as handwritten texts and graphical PDFs require preparation and extra attention and are therefore charged at higher rates. A well and clearly written source text makes translation easier and means that we not only charge a much more favourable rate but guarantee a considerably shorter turn-around time.
We prefer not to work with texts that have already been translated using machine translation (such as Google Translate). The kind of revision involved, known as ‘post-editing’, can actually be more time-consuming than translating in the first place! And as a source for translation, decoding the enigmatic content of an inappropriate prepared machine translated text will slow us down to an extent where turn-around times and extra charges become unacceptable.
Machine translation (MT) is only an option for certain types of high volume technical content if – and only if – the source text is written in a special way and terminology has been carefully picked and vetted. We can in fact help you prepare your content for this approach and offer consultancy services if you want to do this yourself.
Please get in touch with us so we can discuss how this will work for you.
And finally we want to tell you about our eye-catching expertise; transcreation.
Transcreation is the art of writing new marketing content specifically targeted at your local potential customers and clients.
Our transcreated texts will be eye-catching and bespoke. They will help you winning that extra market share that you're striving for.
Try us. You will not be disappointed.

My biography and experience
Seasoned translator and engineer with a track record of 28 years. Currently 62 years young and happily living in the most buzzing place of the world, Bangkok; already for over nine years. Meanwhile, my daughter, who is one of the share holders of our limited company, is about to conclude her studies in civil engineering at a renowned German-founded university here. She communicates in Dutch (native), Thai (native), British English (near native), and some German. Whenever she has time she helps us out using her talents, while acting in the background as a source of information and local networking. Myself, I speak Dutch (native), English, French, and German. A little bit of Danish too. A language I learned to read and understand while I was a member of an indoor climate research team at the Technical University Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Naturally, I can communicate at a basic level in Thai as well. Would you like to know more? Ask me!
