My biography and experience

I am an English-Arabic Freelance Translator. I hold a B.A. degree in Translation, and I have worked professionally in the translation field for almost two years.

During the last months, I have worked with JAZIRAT SMAA FASHION CO. LTD. And EASTERN RETAILING READYMADE FASHION CO. LTD. In translating invoices and official correspondences from English into Arabic and vice versa, and I have also worked with MercatoVIP team in translating their new online shopping website from Arabic into English. In addition to that, I have worked with a company in translating board game rulebooks from English into Arabic (these games have not been published yet in Saudi Arabia), and I have translated many articles, resumes, and presentations from English into Arabic and vice versa.

In addition, In my last position as a Knowledge Base (KB) Translator within "Concentrix" for the project "Jawwy form STC", I was Translating the KB including: FAQ, SOP, canned response, troubleshooting, articles, and training material using SDL Trados, from Arabic to English and vice versa. I have also worked with the vendor doing translation services and I was able to meet all work deadlines on time as I have worked effectively within a great team.

Moreover, as teaching has been known as one of the noblest professions which have an everlasting positive impact on the future of students, I was honored to join members of the faculty and staff of "Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, College of Languages and Translation". My first teaching experience was challenging, but exciting! I was actively involved in classroom management, developing lessons and plans, and creating enjoyable teaching techniques using social media platforms to achieve a better learning environment and improve the quality of teaching for students.

Furthermore, I have experienced Customer Care which has strengthened my skills including written and verbal communication skills, team work, individual work, time management, commitment to work responsibilities, and meeting daily targets. In addition to the understanding of the customer's needs and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Additionally, I have some voluntary work in the field of translation, as I have volunteered for the "Saudi health promotion center", and I am now a volunteer for "Autrjim" team and "Noon Scientific Group". Also, I am a member of "Ehtwaa" team that won the first place in the contest that was held by Mobily "Mobily's Award for Volunteer Work”. Ehtwaa Team Members have been working hard for the last six years in carrying out many successful volunteer campaigns, some of which I have participated in. All team members demonstrate organizational and collaborative behavior to improve team's performance. I really feel a sense of belonging to each team I volunteered with and I always work hard towards the success of the team.
