  4. How can I contact translators on The Open Mic?

There are several ways to contact translators on our platform.

First, you’ll need to create a free account if you want to contact translators on The Open Mic. You can sign up for free here.

Once you create and activate your account go to Menu > Translators > Find translators by language.

Or you can select Find translators by name if you’re looking for someone in particular.

After you click that link you’ll be redirected to our directory where you’ll be able to use various search parameters, including:

  • Source and target language;
  • Types of services;
  • Areas of specialization;
  • Average translation rate;
  • Years of experience;
  • Membership in associations;
  • Whether or not translators uploaded their CVs and credentials;

Once you’ve found somebody who looks like a great fit for your company you can easily send them a private message by clicking on an a blue Message button.

Depending on translator’s notification settings they’ll receive an email and web notification about your message.

You can also send a direct email.

In that case you need to open translator’s profile and go to Contact tab.

Leave your name, your email address and your message and translator will reply to you via email.
