My biography and experience
I grew up in Hawaii where, surrounded by the rich Polynesian-Asian cultural blend and the beautiful land & sea, I stayed inside reading all day and started to learn Spanish. Four years after graduating from Island Pacific Academy high school, I left BYU-Provo with a Spanish Translation degree, plus a Japanese minor and some shiny new web programming knowledge. (Oh, I also got a husband.) Currently, I work at a translation agency. (Still in Utah - thanks, husband's quest for a college degree.) And while I don't do any translation there, I do dedicate a sizeable chunk of my remaining time to part-time freelance translation. (Sorry, husband.)
My short-term goal is to work on many varied types of translation projects. My long-term goal is to transition to full-time freelance translation work. My dream is to specialize and translate sci-fi/fantasy literature, video games, and websites.
TLDR; If you have a thing in Spanish, and you want it in English, contact me. Maybe I won't be a good fit. In that case, I'll send you on with whatever advice I can give you. But if I am a good fit? Well. When the dust settles, you'll have a brand-new English text to go along with your Spanish one.
