Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" rate. There are dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be more expensive), how quickly you want it done, your budget expectations, and so on.

My biography and experience
During my university studies, back in 2009 I started working as a freelancer translator and proofreader. As I was studying Language and Literature in Portuguese and English, my language pair naturally developed as English into Brazilian Portuguese.
I have experience with technical texts in IT, trains, offshore, cranes, and manuals for mechanical and electric equipment. In 2013-2014 I participated in the localization of the Khan Academy portal as a proofreader. Since 2016, I am part of the team post-editing The Gospel Coalition into Brazilian Portuguese.
2018 was a busy year: I took part in a subtitling course, so I can now offer subtitles too! I published the translation of the book The Best Day of Forever [O melhor dia da eternidade] by Jay McCarl on Amazon, and I also started working as interpreter, both on-site and over the phone.
Besides all that hard work, I am studying to get a Master's in Applied Theology with the Irish Bible Institute. When I have free time (which doesn't happen much lately) I am also into knitting, crocheting, and sewing, and I love to travel with my family.
