My rates

0.05 USD per source word
From 46 to 55 USD

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

Born in the heart of the Route of Santiago de Compostela, Rocío grew up seeing people from all over the world passing by her front door, which very soon stirred her interest in exploring the world and learning languages to communicate with people of very different origins. She later studied for a BA degree in English Philology at the University of Salamanca, Spain, followed by an MA course between Salamanca and Orleans , France, where she researched the relationship between language and identity from various perspectives, namely personal, gender, social and online. She also wrote a research project while living in Milan. After having worked as a linguist and translator for several technology companies, she currently works as a freelance professional translator. Moreover, Rocio has always wanted to do her bit in order to make this world a better place. She has collaborated with several NGOs and is interested in causes such as feminism, freedom of expression, collaborative democracy, technological development, cyberactivism, environmentalism, nature and animal well-being.
