I am a native Brazilian who works with many types of translation in English to Portuguese. I moved to New York City in 1984 and lived there for ten years. That's how I started my English studies; when I moved back to Brazil I went on with my English studies and became an ESL teacher. Although my last job was pretty good I moved on to start a new career as a freelance translator and it turned out to be a good decision. I work at home on a full-time basis, Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 6 pm. The work is hard but the pay is good and I love my work and the English language. I have translated many areas such as marketing, gastronomy, culinary arts, many articles for SEO, business, journalism and my specialization is Literature, fiction and non-fiction books. I also work with subtitling and translation for dubbing.
