My rates

0.08 USD per source word
0.04 USD per source word

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

I had a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (where I am originally from). I also have an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth. I worked as a lawyer in Argentina for five (5) years, working in various aspects of the field. The main duties involved: • attending different courtrooms to follow up on a portfolio of cases, • write and file briefs for the cases I was particularly in charge of • attending audiences when necessary • having meetings with clients to inform them about the progress of their cases. Now I am focusing on translation. I have translated various certificates, contracts (NDAs, rent), wills, court appeals. But I also love variety so I have translated for a newspaper, a charity and I have just finished translating some instruction manuals for drones!
