Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all" translation rate. There are many factors that affect translation rates: the complexity of your source text (technical texts will cost more), file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive as they are harder to process), how fast you want it back, the amount of repetitions in a text etc. Furthermore, while I will be willing to charge agencies less as they do a lot of the marketing for me, but my rates for direct clients are still favourable.
