I hope you’re having a lovely day!

I just wanted to share a recap of our recent episode of Translators On Air that we’ve recorded last week.

It was a real pleasure to talk to Michal Tosza. Michal offers free localization services to small and independent game developers and we had a very interesting conversation about localization, game development and working with independent developers.

About Michal

Michal Tosza started localizing CAD software in 2005. From the very beginning of his work he developed a love-hate relationship with Trados that later one turned to love-love relationship with other CAT tools.

New technologies and software were always a must and a beloved choice for him. Apart from all sorts of video and tabletop games’ localizations, since 2009 he has been teaching at universities. His latest project is FreeIndieL10N – a pro bono initiative for game developers who struggle with localization tasks.

In this episode you will learn:

  • How you can benefit from offering your services free of charge;
  • How to find the time for pro bono work;
  • How working for free can help you find new clients;

…and much more!
