Nominate The Open Mic for 2016 ProZ.com community choice awards

Greater than 1 minutes

Hey guys!

It’s hard to believe but it’s been almost a year since The Open Mic opened its doors to our first members.

It was truly an amazing year and I’ve been working extremely hard to make sure The Open Mic gets the recognition it deserves.

Today I’d like to ask you for a little favor.

I’m sure many of you know that Proz.com hosts annual Community Choice Awards to celebrate the most notable people/blog posts/projects in the industry.

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of popularity contests that’s why I haven’t been really paying any attention to it.

However, it seems like this could be a great opportunity to promote The Open Mic.

If we could win this award that would definitely attract more authors and translators to our tiny translation family which now consists of 1587 amazing registered members and almost 10,000 monthly readers.

You can also tweet about it like Pieter, Elise and Magda did:

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Go to Proz.com by clicking this link
  2. Scroll down to section 16 (Other)
  3. Nominate The Open Mic by adding the name of our platform and link to our website
  4. That’s it!

Hurry up! They only accept nominations until July 8!

P.S.: You can also tweet  about it or encourage your friends and colleagues from your favorite Facebook group to nominate The Open Mic.

Thank you so much in advance and I’ll see you later (those who have been following my Developer Diary know that I’m working on a ton of new features) 🙂

P.P.S.: You can also nominate Blabbing Translators as the best podcast and individual blog posts and authors from The Open Mic. Don’t be a stranger! Show your love and support 😉
