The Open Mic is the Best Platform for Translators (Again) The Open Mic wins another award!

Greater than 4 minutes, my friend!

Well, at least according to Proz.com. 🙂

As you probably know the fine folks of Proz.com hold a Community Choice Awards every single year and this year was no exception.

This year The Open Mic was nominated not in one, but in 3 categories!

Aaaand we won in the Best Platform/Resource for Translators category! 🎉🎉🎉

As they say at The Oscars: “This is the 4th nomination and 2nd consecutive win for The Open Mic.” 😊

We also won the Best Platform/Resource Award last year. 🙂

To be honest, I totally forgot about the nominations, so when I saw this tweet by Elena

I was like

woah

I’m incredibly honored and thankful to everyone who voted for The Open Mic!

I’m happy that together we’ve managed to build something very special and extraordinary.

It feels really good to get this kind of recognition and I’m absolutely thrilled to see what the future will bring.

We also accept donations if you want to help us cover our ongoing expenses.

It’s pretty expensive to run a platform of The Open Mic’s scale (especially taking into account that it’s free for everyone), so every little bit counts.

You can donate on this page. Thank you so much in advance!

We Need Your Feedback

I know that we just won an award as the Best Platform for Translators, but I personally don’t believe in “bests”.

I believe in continued learning and improvement. In listening and striving for more.

I love The Open Mic as a platform and I love the community that we’ve built around it, but I believe we could make it even better.

That’s why I need your help and suggestions on how we can make The Open Mic even better for you.

Have ideas or feature requests?

Something annoys you or doesn’t work the way it should?

Feel free to share all of that on our dedicated Feature Requests page.

We monitor it closely and try to adjust our development plans to the needs of our community.

I think it’s the only way modern startups should be built, so, please, share your feedback. 😉

Once again, huge thank you to all the people who supported The Open Mic and helped us build a better community.

Here’s to many more awesome moments of celebrations!
