Is this someone you've been looking for?

Every project is different and I'm afraid there is no such thing as a "one-fits-all" translation rate. There are literally dozens of factors that affect translation rates: the language pair, the complexity of your source text, file format (hand-written and non-editable electronic documents tend to be much more expensive), how fast you want it back, your budget expectations, etc. Please, contact me and I'll be happy to give you an exact quote.

My biography and experience

In 2008, I graduated from the ISTI (Belgium) as a French, Spanish, Arabic and English translator. Then in 2012, I obtained my Master's degree in Arabic Philology from the University of Granada. Native in both French and Spanish - having grown up in Belgium in a Spanish family - I developed very young a keen interest in languages and speak now eight in total: Spanish, French, English, Portuguese, Arabic, German, Italian, Dutch. As part of my translation degree and the Erasmus program, I took one semester in Ireland where I studied the English language thoroughly and brought it up to academic level. Given the success of my academic experience, I then decided to return to Dublin and work there for some months, furthering my knowledge of the culture and language. Since I chose Arabic as a working language, I moved to Egypt where I lived altogether for two years. I am therefore fluent also in Egyptian Arabic and have good knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic. In July 2012, I completed a 6-month translation internship at the Abdel Aziz Saud Al-Babtain association in Cordoba, Spain. During the internship, I translated a 300-page research work from Spanish into French about the history of Écija. My internship also took me to Egypt where I benefited from private Arabic lessons to perfect my technical language knowledge. In August 2013, I moved to Berlin where I worked as a translator, customer service agent and student advisor for myToys.de GmbH and then for Language International. Since 2010, I have been developing my business as a part-time freelance translator and worked mainly for direct clients. The documents I translated belong to the fields of civil engineering, bioengineering, law, medical marketing, commerce and wine industry, among others. In January 2016, I eventually stopped all extra activities and employments to become a full-time freelance translator. Today, I am happy to dedicate 100% of my time to my loyal customers and to new prospects.
